Description:

The species was first described in 1885 by George and Elizabeth Peckham from a specimen in Guatemala. Its distribution is Canada, United States, and parts of Central America.

Habitat:

Often found on low-growing broadleaf plants in open wooded areas

Notes:

This specimen is a juvenile female
