Description:

The Periquitão-(Aratinga leucophthalma), also known as aratinga-of-band, is a bird of the order Psittaciformes, family Psittacidae. Has other popular names such as Araguaia and parakeet (SP / MG), Araguari aratinga, Arau-i, Arua, guira-mane, Maracana Maracana-spotted, Maricato (MG).

Habitat:

Occurs in Brazil, on the way from forests to cities. Bird is adaptable to changing environments by man. To the east of the Andes, from Colombia and Venezuela to northern Argentina and Uruguay, including part of the Amazon and in most of Brazil.
