Field Notes

Description:

Green grasshopper nymph with long antennas, it got very small dark spots all over its body and is pink toward some of the joints. I'm hoping I'm making the right educated guess and think it is the Phaneroptera falcata. Even though it could be similar to the Leptophyes punctatissima.

Habitat:

Dirt road through ancient forest.
