Description:

About maybe 5cm "long" this " moth" came flying into our outside kitchen. It was brightly orange ( see ugly flashed picture) even in flight.

Habitat:

Phuket, Thailand

Notes:

We live here 4.5 years and this is the first one that I ever saw. So not very common I guess.

Beautiful moth Debbie!
This resembles a snouted tiger moth (Lepidoptera, Erebidae, Aganainae), perhaps genus Asota. I would start looking there anyway. Make sure the genus occurs in Thailand...
