Description:

Bright purple flowers, alternate toothed leaves.

Habitat:

Forest

Notes:

This plant had a few galls on it, caused by insects. In the background you can see orange jewelweed growing, so you know this is a moist area. Spotted at Barbara A. Beiser Field Station.
