Description:

This eucalypt-feeding psyllid lives inside a leaf gall. The gall is produced by the leaf in reaction to the bugs (pic#3) irritant chemicals. Psyllids evolve stimulants for deeper gall (pic #4) as predatory ichneumon wasps (pic #5) evolve longer ovipositors =(

Habitat:

On eucalyptus leaves in a suburban park.

Notes:

These gall forming psyllid bugs are female and spend their lives inside the gall. Males are winged and mobile.
