Giant Centipede

Description:
I would put this centipede at something like 14 cm long, though it is a bit hard to be sure as the head never emerged from the hole it was digging. The coloration was orange with a bit of a red tint, just as the tip of its legs. The legs themselves were yellow.
Habitat:
This centipede was seen high up in the forested hills of Northern Thailand.
Notes:
I do wish I had been able to get a picture of the full centipede, but it was quite busy digging and our guide warned us that it was both mean and dangerous, so it would be best to leave it alone.
Only after we had left the centipede behind did the guide mention that if the centipede had seen us, it would have probably charged at us.
