Field Notes

Habitat:

Perched near the top of a small tree on the chaparral hillside of Pillar Point Harbor in Half Moon Bay, CA.

Notes:

I have never seen a Fox Sparrow out in the open like this, especially at the top of a tree. This species is normally very shy and secretive.
