Field Notes

Description:

Smallish (10mm long) fly with toffee coloured head and thorax; short black antennae and a spot at rear of head between eyes.

Habitat:

This one on the trunk of Lemon scented gum (Corymbia citriodora); suburban parklnad near dry sclerophyll eucalyptus forest.
