Field Notes

Description:

While I was taking pictures of some mallards, I noticed something large and brown pop up from the water. It was this guy. The mallards were surprised too. They started to chase him through the water. I wasn't quick enough to get a good picture of that though!

Habitat:

The convergence of a large stream and a small stream in a wooded area on Bucknell's campus.

Notes:

The last picture shows that muskrats and mallards can get along!
