Thanks! I'll go with the ID for dove
If this were a Pigeon the Scientific name would probably begin with Columba but since it looks more like a Dove it would probably be Streptopelia xxx. There are a few of other names in Africa but I know little about Nigerian Pigeons and Doves. You could try searching for Columbidae family in Nigeria to narrow it down.
