The Douglas Squirrel (Tamiasciurus douglasii) is a pine squirrel found in the Pacific coastal states and provinces of North America. It is sometimes known as the Chickaree or Pine Squirrel.
Donna, I spotted this squirrel in Concord.ca.

Is this a Douglas?
The ranger on Mt Diablo was telling me that the squirrels up there are hybrids between Western Gray and Fox. The native were the Gray and then the Fox cam in.
