I'm in Roseville. Snowy owls are certainly being seen. There were four at the LaCrosse airport and another one reported at MSP, but I haven't any first hand knowledge on any of them. The harbor area in Duluth typically have them and this winter is no exception. See http://ebird.org/ebird/map/snoowl1?neg=true&env.minX=&env.minY=&env.maxX=&env.maxY=&zh=false&gp=false&mr=on&bmo=10&emo=12&yr=2011-2011&byr=2011&eyr=2011 and zoom in to find more specific locations and sightings info.
You can add up to 6 photos per spotting. So, you might need more than one set of eagle photos either way.
You need to join a mission to add a spotting to the mission. The birds of the world mission can be found at: http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/5033011
Dean, It's good to see another person on Project Noah from Minnesota and, in particular, from the Twin Cities area! Welcome to Project Noah.
Apple, since Dean's spottings were taken on two different days, I'd suggest that it would be best to keep them separate.
