Common Names: Shepherd's Needles, Spanish Needles, Beggarticks. A weedy annual very common along roadsides & coastal dune areas. Attracts: bees, butterflies.

Habitat:

Florida - South America, West Indies. Disturbed areas, dune scrub, roadsides.
