On a canvas tent. Mid-May. Curled up, not very active.

Habitat:

Grassy woods, near swamp area/lake.

I have reason to believe it is a Morning Cloak as well, as I have seen more of them in the area where the photo was taken than Milbert's; but I appreciate both ID recommendations! Thanks!
Nymphalis (Aglais) milberti caterpillars do not have reddish prolegs.
