Field Notes

Description:

10 spherical cream and brown eggs, approx. 5mm dia., in an almost straight line, some with 1 or 2 small holes.

Habitat:

On underside of eucalyptus leaf (Eucalyptus microcarpa - Grey Box Gum)

Notes:

The eggs with small holes have probably been raided.

These look like emperor gum moth eggs, they have not hatched but something else has instead=( One hatched in my set but made a large hole at one end. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8696735
