large flowering woody shrub, small lavender flowers, new growth leaves thick, grey and fuzzy
not sure of the exact species.
Habitat:
subtropical mountains
Notes:
This is one of the few butterfly bushes I've seen in the wild. I spotted this in subtropical mountains near the border with China during a 4 day trek.
