Field Notes

Description:

Medium, erect, hairless perennial; stems somewhat woody at the base. Lower and middle leaves pinnately-lobed with slender segments; upper leaves linear. Flowers yellow tinged with pink, 12-16 mm long, few in each, rather distant, whorl; corolla sometimes slightly hairy.

Habitat:

Dry habitats, stony slopes, rocky places and open scrub.
