Description:

Anna's hummingbird is a medium-sized hummingbird that is native to the west coast of North America. The male Anna's hummingbird has a striking reddish-pink crown and gorget. I saw several of these along with other species that were attracted to a blooming shrub in pic 6.

Habitat:

Spotted at the Tijuana Slough National Wildlife Refuge.
