I have a few of these, They are colorful and I usually forget what is in the collection. They also have variable wing patterns. They are common here. Thanks to Leuba Ridgeway for the id

A little beauty! Love the fur stole and hind wings. Very 1920's.
Thank you Leuba, you and Mark keep me interested. I agree with you on that id. I have just caught and released another that bridges these wing pattern variations

What a beauty Stephen- that hind wing colour just adds to it. There is some similarity in the wing pattern to Spilosoma, isn't there? Can't find any exact matches but will look. Good to hear from you Stephen.
