Field Notes

Description:

The wingspan is 30–36 mm. Varying bands of brown. Wing margins are toothed or wavy.

Habitat:

Attracted to porch light. Found from southern Canada to mexico.

Notes:

Adults are on wing from April to October. There are several generations per year.
