Field Notes

Description:

An adult skink. Fairly large for this species. Very hard to distinguish from the common and broad-headed, but based on how far south this was seen, the Southeastern species is most likely.

Habitat:

A nature preserve on the border of Broward and Miami-Dade counties.

Notes:

Had a very difficult time with the ID but the listed ranges are pretty clear.
