Description:

A little over 1/2 inch long.

Habitat:

Spotted on goldenrod bordering an open field and deciduous woods.

Notes:

It was a wet and raw morning. I saw more than a dozen bumblebees soaked and seemingly in stasis on many goldenrod plants.
