Yellow slug

Nice one, Avinash. I checked my original photo of this shot and tried to zoom in to check that, but it looks more like debris on the wall to me, though it still might be a snail. Well, I guess we'll never know!

Yes Emma, I noticed the snail when I was taking the photo and I have already made the spotting. What I haven’t noticed till now is that there are two snails in this shot. The other one is a little up and to the left of the first one. I had spotted the snails earlier that day in the evening. There were plenty of them on that wall. And I think it had rained earlier on that day. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8746008 Then I saw the slug at midnight at the same spot where the snails were before. The number of the snails had reduced by midnight, but some of them were still there.

Thanks Daniele, you gave me the clue to find the species name. I think it looks more like Limax flavus. They are common in UK and nocturnal as well as this one.

Hi Alice. Actually it was midnight, and I used the flash. So I guess the poor guy was already in the dark. I feel guilty now for disturbing him!
