Description:

The monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus) is a milkweed butterfly (subfamily Danainae) in the family Nymphalidae.

I chased this butterfly on several occasions in different locations, but it would never stop till now.

Habitat:

Seen beside a path running beside a river in an area with a mix of mangroves, rainforest & open grassland.
