Description:

The Great Cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo), is a widespread member of the cormorant family of seabirds. The genus name is Latinised Ancient Greek, from (phalakros, "bald") and (korax, "raven"), and carbo is Latin for "charcoal".

Habitat:

Seen at Thol Bird Sanctuary.
