I can't find any evidence of Xerocomellus chrysenteron in Florida.

sorry to confuse the matter but I thought I'd mention Xerocomellus dryophilus looks more similar to me at the moment because of the redder cap, and I guess Boletus rubellus also looks similar. I hope you find the correct ID!
