Description:

Small spider to approx. 6mm, sitting in the base of a Atriplex cinera leaf on a coastal sand dune.
Was quite aggressive, raising its front legs when I got the camera close.

I'll try an keep these characters in mind next time I spot as spider, thanks for the tip
I'm no expert on them Vinny but I see eye pattern, abdominal pattern, relative leg lengths, setae on legs, size and furriness of cephalothorax. Oz garden orb weavers are incredibly common but incredibly variable on the abdominal patterns and leg banding... under a consistent design. Excuse my ignorance but what characters make it an orb-weaver?
