@asergio: that's a good idea. I doubted my suggestion was credible, but maybe it will lead you in the right direction. :)
alicelongmartin, actually it was pure white, the blue shade is because it was among some leaves, and the sun was setting down, so light conditions were far from ideal. But I'll try to find it again, in a more proper situation.

Small Wonders & jgorneau: sorry, but I think neither of you are right. I don't want to look arrogant, but I think I'll spend a bit more time researching. I hope to have an answer in a not so distant future. Anyway, thank you both.
This does resemble a Spilosoma sp. - possibly newly emerged? It looks fresh!
My suggestion was based upon the stocky front legs, not the antennae. Hope this leads you to the right track, though.
Thank you, Cindy Jgorneau, it was around 5 cm long. I am uploading the only other good picture I got of it.
