Field Notes

Description:

To me and to some of my fellow bird-watchers, this bird looks like a female of some sunbird... As all females from this group go, difficult to ID...
And of course, the angle of the shot does not help either.

Habitat:

Turkana region, urban setting. Dry, semi-desert area, with little of green...

Notes:

I saw this small bird in a fleeting moment, and just had a time to quickly shot twice - luckily enough, pictures are not totally blurred; unfortunately I had no good angle...
I waited for it to return for two weeks; never saw it again.
