Description:

Proboscis Monkey - Kalimantan (Indonesian Borneo) - 2014

Habitat:

Easily identifiable by their long noses, Proboscis Monkeys (Nasalis larvatus) are endemic to the island of Borneo in Southeast Asia. Their calls consist of several deep humming sounds that vibrate throughout the surrounding forest; waking up to them all around your boat is just marvellous!
