Field Notes

Description:

Wing span around 3cm. Upper side of the wings is the lightest shade of blue. The deep 'v' shape at the bottom of the hind wing is useful in identification. The undersides of the wings are creamy brown in colour, and is lighter than that of Dark Cerulean. The white markings are broader and prominent as well.

Habitat:

Found while basking in the morning sunshine. Suburban residential area.

Notes:

The larvae feeds on various flowers of the family Fabacea.
