Description:

How would you classify this Goose when it has two horizontal markings on it's head? Little markings here and there could be normal?

Cindy, this is a link for the sub species, http://home.pacifier.com/~mpatters/bird/cago.html Cindy ,yours could very well be a ssp. because of the symmetrical nature of the markings. Let me see if I can find a link on ssp.
Thanks Ismael. Did you changed your profile pic?
I remembered your spotting when I saw this bird!!I remember reading somewhere that these spots do show up now and then. Liam might be able to better answer your question though.
I spotted one with a white dot above each eye. They're symmetrical so I thought it was a ssp of some kind. I wonder if Liam's guess of leucism is true for mine as well. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8499641
Thanks Liam. This Goose had an excellent temperament. He was intelligent enough to know that i meant no harm and seemed to enjoy my presence and the attention it was getting. Beautiful bird!!
Looks to have some leucism going on.
