Field Notes

Description:

Appeared to be some sort of gulls maybe. Mostly white with dark wing tips. One had a bit more dark spots on its wings and tail than the other. Spotted flying over downtown Tallahassee.

Notes:

These two were chasing each other high above my head. It is pretty dreary out today, so not the best of photos - especially for ID purposes. One had something it was carrying in its mouth and I suspect the one chasing it wanted to steal it away.

Thank you Liam. when looking back over the originals and zooming in much closer I agree. I think one is a juvenile. One thing about Florida we don't run out of birds to photograph and I am just starting to learn more of the shore and water birds.
