oh, and thanks a lot for the ID, Alex...that was fast again :)
I put amoebozoae (which slime molds are counted to) into "others" because they belong not into fungi. Same as for lichens - they are no fungi (even if fungi are part of the symbiotic components). This specific one: I put it into "others" because I didn't know what it is ;) simple.
why do you put everything into "others", (ok , over the slime mold will i not start again) i have seen lichen (even i germany they are subclassed under ascomycota - fungi [ http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Landkartenflechte ]) and mold categorized as "others".
