Field Notes

Description:

A small little moth with red, grey and white marbelled wings and a very heavy body to match. The lower half of the forewing is bright yellow and it has large greenish eyes.

Habitat:

Beside a little stream over a dirt road, surrounded by dense tropical forest. Seen on the Eastern slope of the Andes in NE. Bolivia at 1455 meters.

It is a Geometridae, Larentiinae, either Hagnagora sp. (towards which I tend to) or Heterusia sp.
It might be a species of casniidae,amazing spotting pamsai
