Description:

Striped mammal ~ 5 inches long, exclusive of tail.

Habitat:

Montane ecosystem of mixed coniferous and deciduous trees, a variety of shrubs and grassy meadows and marshes drained by small streams.

Notes:

Spotted at Rainbow Curve along Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park.
