There is a fair amount of variation between different guinea fowl feathers, alin; depending on the part of the bird, spots may be larger or smaller. It's usually safe to assume that any black and white polka dotted feather is a guinea fowl feather(there are also lighter gray variations). And Walter, I think the guinea fowl feather could have ended up in Atlanta either from someone's craft project(they are sold commonly in craft stores) or perhaps someone owns a guinea fowl in the city.
Guinea fowl in Atlanta, GA?
Very nice! Welcome to Project Noah Walter!
What a lovely feather. I really like the pattern. Hmm, my suggestion may not be entirely correct as some photos of the Guinea Fowl feather looks slightly different. I hope it helps!
