Description:

This member of Vespidae family has black and brown thorax, with yellow abdomen stripped and spotted black. Brown legs and antennae, and brownish transparent wings. Yellow front, and eyes "C" shaped. Rather large insect, ... and scary!

Widespread across Europe.
