Field Notes

Description:

The plumage is mostly scarlet, but the rump and tail-covert feathers are light blue, the greater upper wing coverts are yellow.

Habitat:

Amazonian rain-forest

Notes:

These two Macaws were reintroduced in the forest but they tended to return to the recovery center where they had recovered.
