Thanks for the clarification! I think he is probably the African Migrant, too...although technically, I'm in Asia! :-)
Catopsilia pyranthe is an Indomalayan/Australasian butterfly that does not occur in Africa. However, some authorities believe that C. florella and C. pyranthe are actually conspecific – the two caterpillars certainly appear VERY similar.
Ah, yes, I've just been researching the African Migrant, which I know is found in Egypt. But this guy was on a Cassia tree...
