Description:

Tiny gold colored spider with some kind of minute parasite. See final photo for size comparison. with my fingers.

Wildlife habitat.

Notes:

Found on a plant in the shade garden we created last year.

Thanks Tamar, I will do some more research. I never heard back from bugguide on this so I'm guessing it's not too common. Pity I can't see the eyes to be able to get to the family at least.
This may be another Mesh Web Weaver. I can't find an exact match but the body shape and color pattern are similar. http://bugguide.net/node/view/1971
