Field Notes

Description:

I often see them mingling with the Horned Puffins as shown in the first two photos. They are pretty common here but usually stay away from the harbor and don't come close to the shore.

Habitat:

In the ocean somewhat close to shore, but usually too far to encounter unless on a boat

Notes:

Unfortunately I haven't been fortunate enough to get close shots of a Tufted Puffin yet, but I have Horned Puffin photos to follow.
