Field Notes

Description:

The tint of this momentous fungi was a light green on the outside and a white color on the inside. The lengthiness of this species was about 30 centimeters long. The broad of the fungi was approximately 15 centimeters. Some of the plant was peeling of as if it was tedious of the winter cold.

Habitat:

We went out to investigate lichen on January 18th, it was approximately 0 degrees Celsius out.The particular lichen species I have obtained was on a rather large white pine. It’s location was at the coordinates of, 43.580798 N and -70.702697 W. This species is the green and leafy folios from the temperate forests of Maine.

Notes:

It was in the mid winter when we went out to investigate. (Jan. 18) It was a rather brisk morning. This probably affected the growing.
