We are going outside at 12:00 pm on Wednesday January 18, 2012.There was 15cm of snow on the ground and it was 1.7 degrees c. The wind speed was 20 mph and gusts of 30 mph. One of the lichen was found I say it is Flavoparmelia caperata. On the sites I found they all make the same colors and how they grow on bark of maple and oak trees and the comon name is Greenshied. The color is green and they both are and are the same shape. The lichen is foliose that means it is leafy.
