Description:

Tan snake with brown blotches on the back and sides. There are two large, brown blotches on the neck and the pupils are vertical. Despite the vertical pupils, this snake is completely harmless to humans. Just another reason you can't look at pupils to determine if a snake is dangerous or not.

Habitat:

Flipped this guy under a fallen tree trunk in the desert.
