Description:
Small heron with chestnut colored body, dark cap and dark green sheen on back. Few white streaks on neck. Yellow legs and sharp long bill. Great hunter and stalkers. Known to use tools like twigs to attract fish to them.
Habitat:
Usually found near water like ponds, lakes, marshes.
