Eucalyptus is not native either. Great Id skills Cindy!
Awesome! I just read on another source that this tree IS found here but is definitely not native.
Perfect ID Cindy and great question Apple!!
Hello, my ID is only a guess based on the images. You said it was a pine and I couldn't find anything that resembled it. I tried to attach a link but it said there was a server error each time. Here's the link http://www.sharkenterprises.biz/photos/plantae/magnoliaceae/liriodendron/LiriodendronTulipifera02.htm It's also an east coast tree which further disputes my ID but it may be a good place to look!
You're welcome and thanks :) Sorry I don't know the ID of this tree. It didn't shot up in Calflora.
It has fallen in place! Thanks for noticing Cindy. Good observation skills!
Are you sure it's a pine?
Cindy,it keeps going back to Canada even if I corrected it!!
I've been doing the same thing btw. I have a 10 mile radius for at least 95% of my spottings!
Ya the comment window and order has changed. I wonder if all the maps reset or something.
