Thank you jgorneau for the valuable information and the id. :) going by your suggestions and links, i think i have a picture of a nymph and a mature katydid ;) i shall provide their links just now. :)
I would put Juvenile in parentheses after true katydid.
I would say to be specific, this is a true katydid, but they do not live in India. I will suggest nevertheless.
If you search Katydid Nymph on this website, many of the katydid nymphs look too spotted, with too long antennae.
This is definitely a immature katydid, but I do not think it is a katydid nymph.
