Description:

The diamondback terrapin is uniquely suited for life in marine environments. They have large, webbed feet and the shell is usually wider at the back than in the front. The body coloring can vary from brown to grey, and its shell color can be grey, brown, yellow, or white. They also have a unique pattern of wiggly, black markings or spots on their body and head.
